Print screens of Article 1 ‘How Fashion has changed in East London’


This is a print screen of me writing my title in the colour white ‘How fashion has changed in East London’ on top of a red colour background which makes it stand out for the reader.





This is a print screen of me adding text in the colour ‘white’ again to stand out in contrast of the red background. I have added text explaining how because of diversity in East London, we have now mixed in styles of what we wear because of urbanisation and mix of cultures and religions.



This is a print screen showing that i included my photos that i have took, showing the different type of clothes women and men wear in East London, giving the reader the idea that boys wear urbanised clothes and women have a mix from wearing clothes that allows them to express their religion/culture as east london is very diverse and others have the option to wear clothes that express their style.


This print shows that i have added white text explaining the difference between fashion back in the 70s and 80s compared to 2000s to 2018, how youths used to wear suits in the 70s and 80s in East London and now boys wear urbanised clothing such as tracksuits. For women, they still wear the same clothes such as vintage clothing is heart of heart london, the 80s and 90s style for women have come back alive, crops tops and high waisted tops are in trend, the difference is that women are more openly expressing their culture in their clothing.


This print screen shows that i have included text explaining that vintage clothing is the core of East London, wherever you go, there are vintage shops for the ones that love the 80s and 90s style, again meaning that trends that was a trend in the past would always stay as a trend and come back. And that vintage clothing would always stay in East London as a trend no matter how many years pass and fashion changes, vintage would always be trend that everyone loves.

ROOTS, REGGAE, REBELLION History behind the rastafarian flag  The symbol of the lion is connected to Haile Selassie, an emperor of  of Ethiopia  which symbolise  who the Rastafarians worship as they leader, Rastafarians believe that Selassie’s heredity can be traced back to the Tribe of Judah, which itself used the lion as a symbol that's why the  Rastafari's refer to him as the Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah. The Lion of Judah was represented on the flag of Ethiopia from 1897 to 1974. Due to its association with Selassie, it continues to be an important symbol alongside members of the Rastafari movement.  The current Rastafarian flag happens to be the old  Ethiopian flag, that was used from 1897 to 1974, on which the symbol of the Lion of Judah proudly appears.
