Unit 9 - Evaluation of advert

Evaluation In order to record my advert, me and my peer had to decide what type of video we would be producing, therefore me and my peer both decided to create an advert. After sketching ideas of what we can do our advert on, we came to a conclusion of using a chocolate bar for an advert. So, the chocolate options were either ‘Bounty, Yorkie and Mars’, we both decided to use Mars as it is the most common favourite in the UK. My advert does follow the rules in producing a advert as normally adverts have humour and music in the background with cuts and i have ensured that my advert includes some of these rules such as music in the background, dialogue and mise en scene. Our initial idea was to have a green screen in the background that would allow me to edit a mars background, however, there was a lack of prop and therefore there was no green screen, so that when the peer (elodie) eats the mars bar, the mars bar would take her to the planet mars. Because we could not do this,

Unit 4/15 Task 4- Evaluation

Task 4 - Evaluation (Unit 5/14) My research into publishing and real digitally products have helped me gain knowledge on what i specifically need to create my article and what needs to be included and the best way to make it look physically appealing. The research i done was not only on publishing such as how to do a article but most importantly Fashion. I have researched into many British fashion magazines such as Vogue, InStyle UK, BLITZ and London Fashion News, all these magazines were looked at which gave me an idea or how to present my article in the best manner that fitted a magazine for fashion. I had to also look into the changes of fashion in East London to make me have an understanding of how, when and why fashion has changed, therefore gave me an overall understanding of how fashions trends are in 2018. The mode of address is the audience who are interested in fashion, therefore i had to ensure that when looking into layouts of articles it had to be put in a layout that

Unit 4 & 15 - Task 2D

Two adaptations on one Article I have chosen to write my adaptations on the article ‘Modern Fashion Trends in the heart of East London’ this article was speaking about the trends in East London and how they have developed and changed in time. The first adaptation that i would outline, is that the information in my article does not express and outline majority of the trends we see in London today, i have briefly explained what has changed from men and womens clothes but have not gone into detail, therefore i believe that if there is more detail in the explanation of how the trends have shifted in time, then this would make it clearer to the audience how, when and why it has changed. This is another point that i could of mentioned which was explaining why they have changed. I stated in the article down below that; “Fashion trends have always developed and evolved throughout the years. Trends are always changing every year and month. It has gone from big backcombed styled hair t

Evaluation for Unit 4 - Task 2 Aim C.

Evaluation for Unit 4 - Task 2 Aim C. The brief of my audio work is completed. I have done this by analysing the techniques i have used in my photography and how this has benefited me and the audience. I have then audio recorded my interview and acapella with my peer. I have firstly recorded testing audios as pre sessions to ensure that it is capturing my voice clearly with good quality, then i recorded both my interview and acapella. The aims of my brief was to create a audio recording for a audio recording company so they could use it for their training courses. Before i started to create a audio, i had to ensure that i had a wide knowledge about the background of audios and its recordings and what type of equipment is needed to record audios, most importantly, how to record and what is the best recorder to use. I have therefore then created two audios in two different environments and two different acoustics. The planning for my audio went very smooth and swiftly, i quickl

Unit 4 - Task 1 Aim C

Unit 4 - Task 1 Aim C. It states that ‘you must use appropriate equipment to produce audio recordings. Your recordings must be creative and clear’ In order to make sure i achieve this, i would need to get the appropriate recording. I have chosen to use my phone whilst applying the headphones to the phone jack to make it clearer and also a microphone that captures a lot of high quality sound. I have chosen to record in a quiet sound proof room that would pick up the best quality for audio. The microphone that i would be using is a rode microphone which does not need batteries therefore i could speak for ages and question my interviewee. It is very useful as i would just need to plug it in and let it stand there without having to be fussy by bringing it back and forward when speaking which is a handheld microphone which may not capture all the sound but this microphone is steady and fixed therefore it would be beneficial in many ways. It states that ‘you must use two different

Unit 4 - Task 3 Aim B

Unit 4 - Task 3 Aim B This pro-production report would be expressing the importance on professional recording and editing equipment, and on recording techniques and procedures. Digital Recording Devices. A solid state (disk), which is also known as a SSD, has the same function has hard drives which includes the internal and based on a semiconductor. This simply means that solid state electronic devices are created by solid components that do not actually move. An example of this would be; computer motherboards and even integrated circuits and flash memory devices. A digital recording device simply means that the device converts sound such as audio into a folder (file) that is digital which allows the movement of one electronic device to another device that is probably used in a computer and smartphone. A Audacity is a common audio editor and recorder software that is used to edit and record audio. This is a free editor that is used on MAC, Windows and Linux syst

Unit 4 - Task 2 Aim B In this report, i would be attempting to explain my understanding of microphone types, characteristics, and their suitability for different acoustic environments, and explaining and comparing the different types of constructions in microphones. Types of Microphones Handheld microphone: This type of microphone is where a person holds the handle, where people can pick up and hold to make a speech, announce something or sing. These type of microphones are commonly used in live shows, music artist performances, events as it is easier to perform and move about whilst holding the microphone, some have cables but some do not, and are very hard to break. Lavalier microphone: This type of microphone is where a small microphone is attached to a person’s collar or top, and is mainly used in TV shows, theatres, public shows such as circuses. This allows them to speak without the constant reminder to hold onto a frame it allows them to use their body for actio
